Our Week

This is liam in his new fleece cover for night time, and under it is a bumgenius one-size pocket diaper with two inserts....that thing is HUGE! We couldn't find any pants to fit over it, so he had to sleep with a blanket over him. But it did the trick and there were no leaks that night!



This is what he does every time he gets out of the bath tub and is all wrapped up-
tries to put his foot in his mouth. It must taste extra good fresh out of the tub.

Oh there have been happy moments, but this about sums it up.
But boy do I love him, even his crying-mad-fussy faces.

I can't remember if I posted this video already, but as part of liam's bedtime routine, after we've taken his clothes off for his bath, AJ tickles him by blowing on his sides and making him giggle. It's so much fun to watch that I usually end up giggling too!

Happy SIX months to Liam!

We had a half-birthday party for Liam tonight. I'll post pictures of it tomorrow. Liam tried squash for the first time and I think we have a winner. So far his favorites are bananas and squash. Oh, and last night he pushed himself onto his arms and legs all by himself for the first time! We were so excited and tried to get him to do it again, but he wouldn't. He's sitting up all on his own now too. It seems like he's growing up so fast...sometimes he seems like such a big boy to me, and then others he still seems so little to me. But we're loving him and enjoy him so much and can't imagine what it was like before we had him.

Our Sabbath Afternoon

We found this really cool state park about 45 minutes from us that's close to the mountains and there's a beautiful river that flows around it. It has campsites too, so we want to go camping there with Liam. We headed out for a Sabbath afternoon drive and brought egg salad sandwiches for a picnic lunch, and then we found this place. It was perfect. We had liam all bundled up we hung out by the river until we were all too cold. We can't wait until it's warmer so we can spend some more time there.
