It was beautiful outside today, so liam and I went out to play in the yard and had such a great time. I actually took a chair and my book with me and read while he played happily. He is such a boy and loves to be outside. He's slowly getting used to getting dirty, and by the end of our time out there, he was covered in dirt. Gotta love that.
One of his current loves is airplanes. Whenever he saw one, which seemed like every five minutes, he would sit down on the ground and watch it and sign airplane and make the sound. It's great to watch. He loves to find rocks and pine cones and put them in the base of our basketball hoop that has water in it. He also discovered that he can put his hand in that water and get wet. I didn't mind.
It was so great to sit there, watch my baby playing, and to be in our very own yard. I would look around and think of things we wanted to improve in the yard, but still, it's ours. To play in and have fun in and work in and enjoy. And we were enjoying it. Especially liam. I can't wait till this summer when I can take savannah and liam out there, nurse savannah while liam plays, and enjoy my babes.
I was happy out there. And content. That was my pure bliss today.
PS. Did I mention that I'm in my third trimester already? I seriously can't believe it, but it's really cool too and AJ and I are getting sooooo excited to meet savannah. I just really can't wait to see her! And for liam to meet her finally too. Oh, and no name regrets either. The more we use the name savannah, the more and more AJ and I really love it.
